Aroma Derm goes natural under the skin

Wolfgang Stix, born in 1959, was schooled by the religious Brothers in Strebersdorf, a village in the Vienna region. This religious Order with its rich tradition laid the basis for a sense of duty, tradition and a willingness for lifelong learning. Stix completed his training to become a chemist in the drugstore Köck, one of the best-stocked chemist’s in Vienna at that time. During his apprenticeship, he focused particularly on the study of the medicinal effects and uses of over 250 herbs, and on the production of individual herbal teas and essences. 

In 1984, following the death of his father Erwin Stix, Wolfgang Stix took over the running of the family business. Wholly in the spirit of Erwin Stix, who had himself worked intensively on the manufacture of natural cosmetics, Wolfgang Stix further expanded the company. He intensified research work in the laboratory, broadened the product range and established a world-wide marketing network. Over the intervening period, a small business in Lower Austria has now become a successful company exporting to 40 countries around the world and represented in all five continents.

1992 the research from STYX NATURCOSMETIC has started, to develope products for professional handlers. After the intensive research succeeded the first test and 7 years later, in 1999 the first products from AROMA DERM came into the market.

Over the years, the range of products has been steadily extended, and currently comprises around 450 retailproducts and 195 professional products for Studios and SPA Hotels. The production technology, too, is subject to continuous improvement. Through using the most modern machines and production methods, it is today possible for us to process our products with the same level of care as would be exercised in producing them by hand.
Amongst the equipment used to preserve the valuable vitamins and minerals as well as the aromatics and active ingredients of the essential oils is a vacuum dissolver. Owing to its low production temperature of only 45°C, this technology makes it possible to carefully process the heat-sensitive, natural ingredients. Dermatological tests using volunteers guarantee the extraordinarily high compatibility of STYX Naturcosmetic natural cosmetic products. This gives you and your customers the assurance that you are always getting the highest quality products.
